About the Meeting
The Region IV CCDF Meeting: Partnering Across Southeast To Strengthen Child Care Systems will take place from Monday, June 24th– Thursday, June 27th, 2019, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park. The meeting will allow ample opportunity for Region IV states to share ideas, strategies, challenges, and questions across a variety of topics.
During the meeting we will cover the following topics: monitoring health and safety for providers in different states, best practices regarding provider trainings and professional development registries , workforce issues (including recruitment, retention, and supply-building), criminal background checks , emergency preparedness topics and information about the new Office of Child Care Onsite Monitoring and Oversight System. We are excited to be able to bring all the Region IV states together and look forward to our discussions.
Who Should Attend
State Child Care and Development Fund administrators and their staff in the Region IV states should attend this meeting. We would encourage you to bring teams comprising staff members who work on licensing, subsidy, emergency preparedness and workforce/professional development systems as well as anyone else you deem appropriate.
